Rosendale Youth Center
Mission Statement: The Youth Program staff provides supervised recreation for youth, informal counseling, advocacy and agency referrals and employment assistance.
The Rosendale Youth Center welcomes visitors under age 21.
During Rondout School Days, from 3:00pm – 5:30pm there will be a recreation based after school program. During this time, there is no open drop in center hours until 5:00. If school is closed, then the regular drop in center starts at 3:00. Those interested in the program should reach out to the Youth Director.
Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
Visitors are the responsibility of staff while indoors.

After School Hours
From 3:00pm-5:30pm on Rondout school days, we will be provided a recreational based after school program. The program will be structured to provide youth with activities to do with other youth during the after school hours. Middle school bus drops off at 3:00 and Marbletown drops off at 4:00pm. Those interested in this should reach out to the Youth Director and those attending must sign up. Those that don’t want to participate in the after school program are welcome to come to the center starting at 5:00.

In-House center programs have included Tobacco Prevention Classes, Homework Help, Body Image / Education Workshops, etc.
Employment opportunities exist in our Summer Day Camp for teens age 16 and older.
A volunteer CIT program gives 15 year olds valuable work experience at day camp. CIT’s selected by interview.
Volunteers needed and donations always welcome!!
Funding for the Rosendale Youth Program is provided by the Town of Rosendale, fundraisers, businesses and individual contributions, for which we are extremely grateful.

The Youth Center offers a variety of recreational equipment for indoor enjoyment such as pool, table tennis, foosball, video games, board games, art supplies, computer games, a TV, stereo, legos, toys and puzzles.
Sports equipment available for sign out to be used at the park include softball, tennis, volleyball, tee-ball, basketball, badminton, football and jump ropes.
Children must be under 17, 3 hour maximum use of the building, cooking is not permitted.
