The Youth Commission shall consist of at least six but not more than 10 members, all residents of the Town of Rosendale, and ½ of the members of said Commission shall be at least 21 years of age and the other members shall be at least 14 years of age, but not more than 20 years of age. The Youth Commission shall meet monthly to research and study the needs and problems of youth in the Town of Rosendale, develop plans and programs to be run by the Town of Rosendale, evaluate programs to determine their effectiveness, coordinate the effective and efficient disbursement of aid received by the Town of Rosendale. The Youth Commission is to report directly to the Town Board all its findings and recommendations and, in conjunction with the Town Board, request assistance from the various youth agencies in Ulster County and New York State to establish and implement youth programs.

There is a clothing recycling shed at the front portion of the Community Center parking lot, proceeds from this will benefit the Rosendale Youth Commission.
