TOWN BOARD MEETING
NOVEMBER 4, 2020

Supervisor Walsh called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM followed by the pledge to the Flag via Facebook live.  A moment of silence was observed for

The Public Hearings for the High Falls Water District budget, Tax Cap Local Law and the Town of Rosendale budget were opened by the Town Clerk at 7:05 PM.

Supervisor Walsh explained all the budget changes that have been made.

Supervisors report: READ.

Councilwoman Wykoff said the Police Reform meeting is Tuesday November 10. She thanked the Rosendale Theatre and The Youth Director Matthew McCluskey for the great Halloween event held.

Councilman Igoe said the heat at the RMC has been turned on and also all employees are going to have a fob to enter by the Police entrance.

Supervisor Walsh made a motion to accept the resignation of Mark Checchia effective 11/3/2020, 2nd by Councilman Pryslopski: ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Supervisor Walsh made a motion to hire Frank Fauble III as Court Security Office at $19.25 per diem effective 11/4/2020, 2nd by Councilman Pryslopski. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Supervisor Walsh made a motion to hire Anthony LaRocca as Police Officer at $11.80 per hour for no more than 20 hours per week effective 11/11/20, 2nd by Councilman Igoe. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Resolution 11-2020-#1 – Supervisor Walsh made a motion that the Town Board of the Town of Rosendale hereby authorizes the Supervisor to sign the quote for upgrading the modem to 5g for the EV station on Main Street, 2nd by Councilman Klepeis. Roll VOTE: 5 YES.

Councilman Igoe made a motion for the Town Board to authorize the agreement for DOT to fix the sewer line on Route 213, 2nd by Councilman Pryslopski. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Councilman Klepeis made a motion to pay bills, 2nd by Councilwoman Wykoff. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Supervisor Walsh made a motion at 7:30 pm to close all 3 Public Hearings, 2nd by Councilman Igoe. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Resolution 11-2020-#2 –Supervisor Walsh made a motion that the Town Board of the Town of Rosendale hereby adopts the 2021 High Falls Water District budget, 2nd by Councilman Igoe. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Resolution 11-2020-#3 – Supervisor Walsh made a motion that the Town Board of the Town of Rosendale hereby adopt the Final Budget for the fiscal year 2021, 2nd by Councilman Pryslopski. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Resolution 11-2020-#3 – Supervisor Walsh made a motion that the Town Board of the Town of Rosendale authorize the delinquent water and sewer levies to submitted to the County of Ulster for the 2021 tax levy, 2nd by Councilman Igoe. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Supervisor Walsh made a motion to cancel the November 10th Town Board Meeting, 2nd by Councilman Igoe. ROLL VOTE: 5 YES.

Supervisor Walsh made a motion to adjourn at 7:40pm, 2nd by Councilwoman Wykoff.
