TOWN OF ROSENDALE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER 18, 2007 MEETING

 

Chairman Robert Hendrickson called the meeting to order with the pledge to the flag at 7:30 pm

 

I. ROLL CALL:

Also present, Fred Greitzer, Planning Board Liaison

 

II. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING, Nov. 20, 2007
Leland Eaton made a motion to accept the minutes as written.  The motion was seconded by Denise Pitcher.

 Motion Carried.

VI. CORRESPONDENCE:  Planning Board Letter dated 12/7/07 regarding Proposed Hudson River Valley Resort, SEQRA Type I Action, Lead Agency Coordination
Chairman Hendrickson read the letter stating that the Rosendale Planning Board had received an application from Hudson River Valley Resort, LLC requesting a special use permit and site plan approval for a resort project to include a 130 room hotel, 160 for-sale homes, a spa, a wellness center and an arrival facility on the approximate 779 acre former William Lake Hotel located on Binnewater Road in Rosendale.  The Rosendale Planning Board stated their intent to act as Lead Agency subject to agreement by all involved agencies effective 30 calendar days from the date of the letter.  The Rosendale Zoning Board has been identified as a potential involved or interested agency under SEQRA.  Also received was a copy of the application, project plan, Part I of a Full environmental Assessment Form and SEQRA Resolution. Any comments from the Rosendale Zoning Board will be considered by the Planning Board in review of the application.

 

 Robert Hendrickson made a motion to close the meeting at 7:50 PM.  The motion was seconded by Leland Eaton.
