Rosendale Water and Sewer Commissioners Monthly Meeting
June 27, 2005

Others: Terry Johnson, Supervisor Gallagher, John Maylie, Gunks Climbers : Chris Spatz, Chris Morate, Jeff Powell, and John Tuscanes
Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. on a motion by Ernie K. Motion seconded by Ernie D.
A motion by Ernie D. to accept the May minutes, motion was seconded by Ernie K.
Gunks Climbers Coalition: Terry informed the Commissioners that the Gunks Climbers Coalition will be giving a presentation on Bouldering. Chris Spatz, a Gunks Climber, began by saying that they would like to explore the possibilities of opening the Mountain Road Water Works property to Bouldering, which is a form of rock climbing. The presentation consisted of a slide show on boulder climbing. Each Commissioner was given an agenda plus information on what would be discussed at the presentation. Following the presentation, the floor was then opened for questions. A short discussion followed. The Gunks Climbers were told that a meeting between Water/Sewer Commission and the Town Board will be set up to discuss this matter further. When a decision is made they will be notified.
Sand Hill storage tank: Terry stated to the Commissioners that the bids for the Sand Hill storage tank are due back on July 6, 2005. The bids will also be opened on that day. A short discussion followed.
Cathodic Protection: Terry informed the Commission that their annual contract for the Cathodic Protection on their storage tank is up for renewal. The cost is $495.00. Terry explained to the Commissioners what the contract covers. All of the Commissioners agree to the renewal of the Cathodic Protection contract.
Purchase order request sheet: Terry and the Commissioners reviewed the purchase order request sheet. All purchase orders were approved.
Vouchers were submitted for approval of payment.
Meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. on a motion by Ernie K. Motion was seconded by Ernie D.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 25, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rosendale Recreation Center, 1055 Route 213.
