NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held on the 2nd day of
April, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. at the Rosendale Community Center, 1055 Route 32, Rosendale,
Ulster County, New York to consider whether or not to enact a local law amending Town of
Rosendale Town Code, Chapter 47 (NOISE), Section 3 (Definitions) and Section 6 (Prohibited
Noises), in order to limit collection by waste haulers at unreasonable hours, which disturbs the
public and interferes with the enjoyment of life and property.
The proposed Local Law is on file in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of
Rosendale, Town Hall, Main Street, Rosendale, New York where the same are available for
public inspection during regular office hours.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all persons and citizens interested shall have
an opportunity to be heard on said proposed resolution at the time and place aforesaid.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the requirements of the Open Meetings Law
of the State of New York that the Town Board of the Town of Rosendale will convene in public
meeting at the time and place aforesaid for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the
proposed resolution described above and, as deemed advisable by said Board, taking action on
the authorization of said resolution.

BEFORE THE ROSENDALE PLANNING BOARD
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Town of Rosendale, Ulster
County, New York, will hold a continued Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 60
( Subdivision of Land) of The Town Code on application number 2008-2 Robert
Dietz, for approval of a Major Subdivision at 474 Springtown Road, New Paltz, NY.

SAID HEARING will take place at 7:30 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the
Town of Rosendale Recreation Center on Route 32, Rosendale, New York, at which
time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
