The next Rosendale Winter Farmers Market is on Sunday, February 7th, from 10 AM to 2 PM inside the Rosendale Community Center. Shoppers will find over 15 vendors selling local free-range eggs, root vegetables and sprouts; apples, pears,and cider; cookies, muffins and cakes; Italian artisan breads and crab cakes; maple syrup; organic granolas; cooking tools; coffee beans; hand-crafted jewelry; organic lotions and soaps; dried floral arrangements, wreathes, hand-dipped incense and fragrance oils; organic goat cheese , goat fudge and goat soap; local pastured beef and pork; pickles, jams and salad dressings; and African market baskets.
Special guests include Girl Scout Troop #60216, selling home-made dog treats to raise funds to paint the new Rosendale Animal Shelter. Also present will be Katherine DeWitt, the 2009 Dairy Princess of Ulster County, who will offer information about the number one agricultural industry in New York State and the health benefits of dairy products.
Shoppers may help themselves to free coffee, tea and hot cocoa, and listen to live acoustic music by guitarists/singers, Rob and Kat.
Upcoming winter markets will be on March 7th, April 11th and May 2nd. A pancake breakfast fundraiser for the market (just breakfast - no market that day!) will be on Sunday, March 14th, 8 AM to noon.

The summer season of the Rosendale Farmers Market will be every Sunday from June 7th through November 1st, 9AM – 2 PM, rain or shine, in the parking lot of the Rosendale Community Center, 1055 Rt. 32, Rosendale NY 12472. Going into its 4th year, this is a producer's only market of 16+ vendors with traditional and organic veggies, fruits, meat and eggs; baked treats, artisan breads; seedlings and plants; fresh mozzarella and Italian sausages, crab cakes and soups; organic herbal soaps and lotions, dried and fresh herbs and flowers; pickled veggies and organic fruit leather; local maple syrup, and more. Awesome acoustic music every week! Special booths with community services, including gardening advice and USPS passport application booth, will also join the market on various dates.
