Motions: none
Points of Information, without division: matters discussed, with no vote taken:
that the agenda for this Committee's next (February 14, 2005) meeting shall include:
1) vote on final draft of the Master Plan
2) set date for public hearing
and that Members not present shall be so notified by the Secretary;
that discussion of the submission from the Environmental Commission and
Biodiversity Assessment Group be placed on the agenda of this Committee's next meeting, with consideration given to inclusion in the appendices to the final plan, pending acceptance by the Town of Rosendale Board;
that open-space planning should be referenced,
and that Ulster County is in the process of creating an open-space plan;
that further reference is needed to the desirability of intermunicipal agreements;
that the executive summary of the plan does not reference mixed-use;
and that compromise is to be distinguished from collaboration;
question regarding what material should be included in the appendices,
answered that only appendices labeled A and B shall be included;
question regarding the inclusion of other appendices,
answered that this must be done before public hearing;
question regarding whether the plan should include suggested business-appropriate
development designs, in addition to residential housing,
answered that this should be addressed in the devolved zoning guidelines;
question regarding scenic by-way;
question regarding RUPCO;
question regarding the duration of the final stages of the master planning process;
question regarding the placement of a Planning Board member on the zoning revision committee
to be instituted for purpose of implementing the Master Plan;
question regarding whether we are now at the proper limits of the plan;
and question regarding the time-line for implementation of the plan.
