Rosendale Commission for the Conservation of the Environment

Attendance:Chair Joan Maylie, Nick Mercurio, Deb Weltsch, Joe Liuni, Paul Lendvay, Jennifer Metzger, Ed Maestro, Ilonka Lukas
Town Board Liaison: Ken Cluen
Absent: Rick VendenHeavel

Meeting opened at 6:40 pm.  Previous minutes were reviewed, discussed and corrections made.  A motion was made by Deb W. and seconded by Jennifer M. and unanimously approved.

Old Business
Membership- Discussion centered on terms of members with this commission. A motion was made by Deb W to make a term of 2 years for new members/and or members completing a term. Established members will have a term of 3 years.  This was seconded by Ed M. A unanimous vote approved this motion.

Biodiversity Assessment- The three day short course was attended by Joan M and Jennifer M.  Another three day course will be offered in August and will be attended by Ed M.  All members were encouraged to attend this training.

Planning Board- Nick M. reported that no new applications needed action by the RCCE.

HVME Partnership- The awaited grant was not awarded to this organization, therefore no partnership will be realized in the near future.

EMC- Joe L. reported that no meeting was held, but he will attend next meeting and give a report.

New Business
Program for the next meeting will be on the Stormwater Plan for Rosendale. The speaker will be John Maylie, coordinator. 
This meeting will start at 6:30pm on June 28.
